The Alaska Accountability Project is stepping up so that every Alaskan can participate in our political process, be fully informed, and trust the result. We do that with documents, not slogans — public records, filings, and receipts, examined line by line.

Why this work matters
Transparency is essential to good government
Public trust depends on public records. When money moves through our elections, Alaskans deserve to know who gave it, who spent it, and what they wanted in return.
Interference is weighing down our elections
Out-of-state money, dark money intermediaries, and hidden coordination distort Alaskan races. Every Alaskan should be able to run for office and make their voice heard.

Investigate the record
We conduct systematic records searches across the 2022, 2024, and 2026 election cycles, comparing campaign filings against bank, vendor, and third-party records.

File evidence-backed complaints
Each discrepancy is documented and brought to the Alaska Public Offices Commission as an evidence-backed complaint — not a press-release accusation.
Three
Inform Alaskans
Findings only matter if the public knows about them. We publish what we find so Alaskans know who is really funding the messages aimed at them.
